Co-Curricular Life

Pate’s Sixth Formers enjoy a vast array of co-curricular clubs, societies, sports teams, activities and initiatives. Alongside your A Level study, we strongly encourage you to make the most of all that is on offer:

Our House System

House Spirit runs deep at Pate’s. We have five Houses, promising close communities and hotly contested competitions, including creative and intellectual challenges, Dance, Drama, Music, Sports… and as Sixth Formers, you are at the centre of driving forward House Life.

Drama and LAMDA

Drama is popular at Pate’s. We stage a whole school production every December with students taking a variety of roles and Sixth Formers are invited to run Drama Clubs for the younger year groups. You can also sign up for lessons for a range of LAMDA examinations.

Co-Curricular Music

Our vibrant Music department welcomes all, from beginners to accomplished musicians. We have choirs, orchestras, jazz and other bands and ensembles and host numerous musical events throughout the year. Music lessons are offered in all orchestral instruments (including harp), singing, piano, organ, guitar, sax and tabla. Find out more about Pate’s Music here.

Sport

Outdoor Adventure

Outdoor Adventure at Pate’s is extremely popular! Joining Pate’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF) or taking up the thrilling challenge of the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award. often fuels vocational callings and life long passions.
