Pate's Sixth Form is dynamic and aspirational. With over 500 students, our purpose-built Sixth Form Centre is a dedicated study and social space, where you can focus and flourish.

We offer a minimum of 220 places for entry into Year 12 in our Sixth Form (typically, around 140 internal students will qualify to enter Pate’s Sixth Form; and a minimum of 80 external applicants).

Your Sixth Form years are such an important part of your academic journey; inspiring ambitions, building resilience and independence and making the most of all that is on offer; trying new activities and taking on more responsibility. This helps you to make decisions and work out who you are and what you want to be – we are here to help you thrive.

Pate’s Sixth Form is an exciting place to be! Our students actively engage and are motivated to achieve high academic outcomes, developing skills beyond the classroom in preparation for life after A Levels. We encourage you to be curious; ask questions, challenge yourself and get involved because you never know where it may lead.

Our expectations of all our Sixth Formers are high; you are brilliant role models to younger students. We hope that, beyond your studies, you will take up one of the many formal and informal leadership roles on offer, from mentoring or House Official positions, to organising charitable fundraising events or volunteering in the local community. There are also countless opportunities to excel in co-curricular Drama, Music, Sport and other pursuits.
