Reporting Absence

In the event of your child being unable to attend school, our preferred method for reporting absence is an email:
absence@patesgs.org for Years 7 to 11
sixthform@patesgs.org for Sixth Form;
or you can send a message through the Schoolgateway application.

If the above options are not possible, please leave a message on the absence line. Please note however that an email is the preferred method, as sometimes the signal of the telephone messages left are of such poor quality that we are unable to decipher them.

Please can we ask that absence is notified by 9am on the day of absence.
